The Pianist: Sensitive, Virtuosic & Characterful

Subtlety with Presence
Virtuosity is never an end in itself, but a medium for storytelling. Peter Friemer’s piano performance combines expressive dynamics, improvisational freedom, and a fine sense of tone color. Whether in an intimate setting or on a major stage, his music is defined by character, depth, and rich nuance.

The Composer: Cultural & Stylistic Breath

Soundscapes Beyond Borders
Moving between the pulse of modern jazz, the vibrant colors of Middle Eastern scales, and the emotional warmth of Romanticism, my compositions build bridges across genres and continents. Whether in the focused dialogue of a jazz combo, the intricate writing for string quartet, or at the solo piano—an organic dialogue between diverse musical traditions comes to life.

The Orchestrator: Modern & Cross-Genre Orchestral Variations

Classics Reimagined
The grand orchestra as a canvas for contemporary vision: Masterpieces such as Dvořák’s Symphony No. 9, Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition, and Holst’s The Planets serve as the foundation for modern, cross-genre reconstructions. With a keen ear for monumental tone colors and fresh rhythmic frameworks, Peter Friemer creates orchestral reinterpretations that seamlessly bridge tradition and the present.
